 A Buddy Rich Jazz Masters Scholarship Recipient, Reed holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has performed all around the U.S and has been teaching for the National Music Workshop since 1994. Reed has performed and/or recorded with such musical greats as: Steve Hunt, Jerry Bergonzi, John Lockwood, Howard Jonhson, Steve Bailey, Dave LaRue, Ray Micheau, Jeff Harrington, John Petrucci, Dave Bargeron and Randy Bargeron. .
